Ministry of Encouragement Foundation (MEF) is an African based advocacy ministry with the goal to free Women and children in the developing world from various forms of poverty. We are motivated to cherish, preserve and uphold the sacredness and dignity of all human life, foster charity and justice. MEF works across Ghana to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social justice. We put children, youth, women and girls in the centre because we know that we cannot overcome poverty until all people have equal rights and opportunities.
And we are there to work alongside poor people and communities on long-term programmes to deliver lasting change. MEF programmes and projects tackle the underlying causes of poverty so that people can become self-sufficient. We place special focus on empowering children, youth women and girls because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to lift whole families and communities out of poverty.
